Great video as always but two comments if I may: 4.0 991.2 takes closer to 7liters of oil during oil change, guess you said something about 9-12l? Your buddy seems rather strong, but he almost got a heart attack torquing the oil filter. In my 991.2 I'm torquing it down with 25Nm which is a bit more than hand tide. Looking at him one could say he was putting at least 100Nm there 😂

ive had a model X for 2 years and yeah its missing so many features. I want buttons bc going through menus just for the AC is annoying while driving. I seriously dont think its a great car. I also have a RS6 and that thing is so lush, I wish i wouldve never gotten the X. Im also too much of a car enthusiast for the silent tesla with just a huge ipad in the middle. It feels lifeless in a lot of ways. Gf loves it so i shouldve known lol

The iX is far superior to all Teslas. I’m sitting in my Models and there is nothing special about it. Test drive an iX last week and I can tell you the comfort and quality is EXTREMELY brilliant. The tech is far superior in the BMW, head up display, 360 camera, massage seats and better auto pilot. It’s subjective what look you prefer. I personally like the look of the iX but the interior is where is really shine Price is irrelevant as you wouldn’t compare the iX to the lowly model Y. It’s comparable to the model X which I have also driven. If you’re interested in cars in this price range go and test drive them Before you draw conclusions Just don’t drive or sit inside the BMW i7 because that’s a good whole level above. Only Rolls Royce or Maybach can compete There

Tesla built quality is shit, seen/drove one Tesla x with 150k miles its interior falling apart. Front axle vibration is another “quarks” and features well known for every Tesla owner.😂 least forget road noise

I would have the IX any day a vehicle with out heads up display that is a deal-breaker I actually like the front of the BMW the beaver teeth don't bother me but what would bother me is getting into a car and all you have is a tablet in the middle of the dash no Tesla for me

Sorry to bring up an old video but did you have issues with the 275/30/20 on the front? Richland advised me to run 265/30/20 for rubbing issues. I want to order the proper tire sizes. This will be on a 20x9.5 +22 (same as yours). Thanks for any help.

No need to remove the left fan. Simply remove the right fan and its cable from their mounts and fold the fan over. You can separate the fan cable from its plug rather than prying it out of the plug mount (to prevent breakage) and after folding the fan over, pull out the air intake and you have access to the oil filter housing cover.

Newbie here, how do you clean the funnel or other equipment that’s touched the oil? Do you have to clean it in a way where it won’t introduce contaminates the next time it’s used?

Do you believe in priming the engine before turning it on after an oil change? With some cars, I believe you can activate a mode called “clear flood mode”. With some filters, you can pour oil into the filter. You can’t do that with this style filter, but some people pour oil directly into the oil filter housing. Thoughts?

I think each person will feel differently about their Tesla. Depends on the expectations. There is no single pill when it comes to vehicles. I love the updates and having a full tank every morning. Drawback is certain areas that do not have alot of superchargers, however, just need the adapters to use EvGo, Francis Energy, Electrify America, etc.

I don’t think your situation is all that uncommon or unreasonable. You know what they are doing. You know the time frame is uncertain. Asking staff to give you an update when Tesla has such few people handling customer service is causing others to be put on hold. Getting an update will not get you your car any sooner. It looks like you have a car to drive (probably a nice loaner) I’ll give you my situation. I bought a Tesla that was supposed to be delivered 800 Km to my home town. They did not happen. No one at Tesla anders the phone and the app runs I circles. I’m stuck with a car that is a five hour drive away. I’m now going to drive to my local dealership because Teslas support system does no exist for my situation. I think tech gadgets give me more angst than it does satisfaction. The same week I bought the Tesla I also bought a 1972 Chevrolet truck. That car runs is here and any mechanic in any town can help me with it. Do we really need so much of what is supposed to makes our individual lives better while crushing our communal living.
