Do you just charge it w/ pressure once and then put it in your kegerator with the gas line disconnected? Do you need to recharge it after dispensing some or is that 12PSI enough to get it all out? Usually ive seen the gas lines stay connected.

@@deitzjoshYeah, I ended up making one myself. I charge mine up to 35-40PSI with Food Grade nitrogen, and then leave it disconnected. I occasionally have to repressurize it when the flow gets slower, but only like 2-3 times for a 5gallon corny keg.

@@Matowix you definitely can leave it connected. Only reason I didn’t is cause my other keg is filled with beer and the N2 tank wouldn’t fit in the fridge cause CO2 tank was already in there. I bought my nitrogen at AirGas, yes anyone can buy but make sure that it’s food-grade nitrogen, not for welding or anything else

Why do you have to keg it if your not infusing the Nitro? just pour out of the 5 gal bucket...

it's a good point. however, the bucket may take up more space and be difficult to pour out of. With the keg built in as a refrigerator, you can keep the beverage colder with less oxygen touching it (prolonging the life.) If you add nitro, you already have most of the steps down.

you'd want to clean it everytime you switch. I'd say a natural run rate is 1 week.

Hey! The taste is still similar to regular brewed cold brew, except the shelf life is greatly prolonged because of the air tight environment so it keeps way longer/ is fresher longer (hence a better overall taste.)

@@altocoldbrew2441 Forgot to mention in purges the oxygen from the keg (When he made her sing) so that keeps the coffee fresh and prevents oxidization and off flavors for up to 6 months
