I love what you do but why dont you lay down a light canvas under the tree before you shake the tree. It would make collection so much easer

Yes that's so, but there are allready so many olives on the floor that I have to go on my knees anyway. It's getting them down that brakes me.

Laying a cover on the ground will make olive picking easier.

Sure, but most of them where on the ground all ready so I did not. And the villagers have rocky underground and it's often steep. that makes is hard to do. Some do that have flatter ground.
