Loved this so much! I only just discovered Rita Berman thanks to you and am so grateful for that! Many other colouring books that are in this style don’t appeal to me at all, yet Rita’s work is somehow different and I find it captivating, absolutely gorgeous! Now I have a huge list of her books on my to-buy list 😂😅 I would have never thought of colouring clouds like this yet I absolutely love it, it just fits her illustration style so perfectly and I love just escaping into these beautiful illustrations. I would absolutely love it if you did some more colour alongs with her books!! 😍

Great video, thank you so much! I noticed in Rita Berman's Books, people also blur/blend colors outside the artwork to make a background of sorts. I don't see this mush in Johanne Basford books. Could you possibly consider doing a video on this technique and how colors are chosen to do this? 💖 TIA

So I like to order my pencil sets in prismatic order rather than the order they come in the pack. So I basically just created my own numbering system so I can easily store them in my preferred order in my pencil case. Hopefully that makes sense! 💖🌈

I always do at least two layers for the thicker line work 😅💖

@@lauras4472 yep. I take a smidge out and use a small paint brush and apply like she does a paint pen. Emily illustrator and Barbara Colours show it in their lives. It’s literally being used for the same as a posca pen. Ends up being cheaper cause I’m not going through paint pens like crazy anymore. And it dries down a little more matte.
