Thank you! I'm 33 and just now starting in the concrete industry after fabricating and installing stone countertops for many years. I've found that a lot of my skills translate well to concrete, but the knowledge I lack I am finding in these videos along with on the job training. It is rare that I have time to stop and learn in the daily rush of getting the job done, especially on pour days. These videos are definitely filling in the gaps of knowledge I need to fully understand the sequence of events that need to take place day to day. Huge help, sir. Big thank you to you and your crew!

Phenomenal job as usual. Ever try your hand at concrete counter tops? Every DIY video I see, they do them upside down and they look smooth, but they ALWAYS have little pockets and voids at the surface that need to be filled somehow before sealing.

Love this finished product, what a BEFOR and AFTER difference. Dave I want to try this effect on my personal patio. I do have some concrete experience(so I know this is not as easy as you guys make it look) but I am not catching exactly how the second color hardener is applied and when? Did you put in on just before you started stamping? Would you recommend trying it out on some "samples" first?Love all of the videos and really appreciate and marvel at your product. It is good to see the next generation learning the ropes. Hopefully those young men appreciate the patience and artistry of a master craftsmen passing down what he knows. THANKS!!

I had a bad contractor do my stamped concrete, its unlevel at some points and they never used the roller to refigure the lines like u did, do I have to tear out my concrete and start all over or is there a way to save it, also we wanted a greyish light color like ur's and they made mine a dark grey color. please advise. Thanks Alvaro: by the way I like the professional work u do.

That really turned out beautiful. Was wondering if you might tell me, I have a stamped concrete walkway, that is getting very faded. A few years ago I resealed it with a product but that has worn out too. The original mix of dark and light grey is only a memory now. Is it possible to restrain and old walkway like mine? What would it entail. If you were in MD I’d hire you in a heartbeat.

I know you've been doing this for a while but you seem pretty down-to-earth so hopefully you don't take offense to a little advice. The commercial grade sprayers do not fail. I have three of them and they are all at least a year-old one of them is about 3 years old and as long as you run a can of xylene through after each use they absolutely safe to reuse over and over. Once I finish a sealer application I empty out whatever sealer had not been used then I dump a 1 gallon can of xylene into the pump sprayer, fill it with air pressure and then spray it back into this island can. I usually unscrew the tip and throw it in a empty water bottle or Gatorade bottle and leave it in there until next time with a little bit as Aileen. Just like 2in of xylene in the bottle which of the spray tip and then next time you're ready to use it you just screw you tip on fill the pump sprayer and you're good to go

The compressive strength of the concrete, it's usually a function of the ratio of ingredients. The more water you add, the easier it is to work with, but the lower the final strength. I believe the color hardener creates a layer of colored concrete at the surface that has a much higher strength than the rest of the slab, so it resists chipping, fading, etc.

@@OdellCompleteConcrete When pouring concrete against walls, other concrete, brickwork, and pipework we usually use "ableflex expansion joints" used to make gaps in concrete, to protect the slabs from cracking when they contract and expand as the temperature changes. This material acts as a shock absorber, absorbing the stress from the slab's movement. :)
