I love my dog MiMi! I named her after Diva Mariah Carey, as you know I am a Lamb and a big fan of her work.

Any elderly, used-to-grooming-their-whole-life dog would do that :) It's standard and necessary for breeds who needs grooming. They get so used to it, that eventually they can even lie down and have a nap on the grooming table - given they have a kind groomer of course. ;)

Get a plastic plate, smear some peanutbutter on it, freeze it and than when you want to dye her hair let her lick the frozen peanutbutter off the plate. That'll keep her distracted and standing still for a while. If you haven't dyed hair before freeze several peanutbutter plates incase it takes a while

Our akita was such a princess. Big fierce looking dog and a great protector, but a princess. Didn't like to get wet or get dirty, love being spoiled. We bought her dog-friendly nail polish when we were little and she loved it. We wanted to see how shed react to pet-friendly dye and she didn't mind at all, had purple tail highlights for two weeks lol. She loved the attention. I volunteer at a wolf rescue and we used pet-friendly dye on our white wolf for a fundraising event too. Absolutely hilarious.

As long as you let your dog be a dog I think this is ok. But the problem is: People who do this to their dogs mostly see them more like idk not really toys, but they totally forget about the "real" nature of the dog. So I'm just hoping you aren't that kind of dog owner and respect your dog how she is, an animal which means just because humans think something is necessary or fun it doesn't have to be that it is for your dog. Like the shampoo and conditioner, please just use that stuff not that often. I only bathe my dog with shampoo when he layed down in like sheep poo ;D We don't even own an conditioner and his fur is fabulous! Dogs don't need that stuff, nature gave them a few tricks on their way to care for themselves. Sadly you dog is clearly overbred, poor thing. I think that's way more of a deal than the hair coloring. I really want to warn everyone that you can not do this to your cat, because cats clean themselves so even after you rinse out the color and dry their hair they are going to lick their furr and get poisoned with whatever it contains :( the only part that you can dye of a cat is a little below the eyes because they can't lick themselves in there. There is a movie called "the cat - goyangyi" you can find it on youtube and they explain why it happens.

Artic Fox, Manic Panic, and Iroiro are also brands that are considered safe for use. Do a patch test against the skin to make sure no reaction develops within 24 hours.
