Thank you for this tip, I am eager to try it. If I may share a tip with you? After filling your molds, gently tap the mold on the counter/table top until you don't see bubbles coming up anymore. It will prevent the holes you had in your chocolates.

I used the basic vegetable oil which we use for cooking (Indian cooking). However, you can use any cooking oil except olive oil and mustard oil. I used gel colors from "great value". I did not put links and brands intentionally because I did not want people to stick on some particular brands. This method will work for all the brands. Hopefully I answered you question properly.

Yes, there are two ways of doing this. First make some hot water and put gel color for 10 min to warm it up.Second Add gel color drop to oil and microwave it for 10-12 seconds. Whatever is easy for you, you can do.

This process has nothing to do with temperature. I have been using this method for almost 2 years now. It works every time. However, there might be some reason such as warmness of you hands or weather or extra quantity of oil.

Chocolate isn’t tempered properly. Please ensure tempering of chocolate is done correctly to avoid melting. Or you can use compound chocolate which is more stable and doesn’t need tempering (but it is lower quality chocolate and may not taste as good)

For the dark red color, use powdered red color. Generally, liquid colors are not that strong so if you want darker either use gel or powder. You can repeat the process with more quantity of color.
