Just use a CST, you’re in RESOLVE! No more curves nonsense.

Not really a professional workflow in Resolve, grading ProRes Log footage by just pulling things up into heaven on the RGB mixer and do one curve correction…

Was quite obvious that this is intended for newbies not for pros tho xD

@@aleksivahapassiweddings yeah but even still, using a cst would give you more accurate colors since ProRes on iPhone is rec2020. This workflow has less accurate color.

Simple firstly apply CST and powergrade, This technique wouldn't work for different footages on iphone

Yeah he missed that part of it. The color space of iPhone is rec 2020 so these colors are less accurate. There’s some tutorials out there that teach the cst. 😉

I NEED HELP. Starting to use my iPhone to film KZbin videos (playing guitar and singing) some saying I need an ND filter for log and LUTs? I’m new to this. If I follow this video will that look good enough lol.
@siteshhhhh2 ай бұрын
ND filters are more probably used in extreme sunlight or the area which looks highly exposed....If you are making cover songs in your home then all you need is a good lighting background...and if you know some basic color grading then you can shoot your videos in ProRes Log. You don't necessarily need ND filters inside your home Sir. Better Invest your money in some good RGB lights. Best of luck.
@abposh7491Ай бұрын
For indoor you won't need nd filter

This color grading workflow isn’t as accurate as using a cst because the color profile of iPhone is rec 2020 in ProRes. If you want you can watch how I set it up for my footage to color grade it best.
