What advice would you give for a first time trader

Ivan Mcclean Study study study study study all the free content you can find on all perspectives of trading (fundamental and technical analysis) and across all assets and markets to thoroughly understand them. Learn how assets are valued and traded, the players in the markets, how they think and feel (very different things) MOST IMPORTANTLY, learn to manage your risk ABOVE ALL, ALWAYS use a stop loss, don’t get greedy, become emotionless and systematic, create a detailed trading plan, start with paper trading and track EVERY trade, don’t over trade, only trade setups that fit EVERY one of your criteria in your plan, and once you’re consistently profitable paper trading then start with real money but never risk more than $10/trade until you’re consistently profitable with real money, then step it up to $20 risk, then $40, then $80, etc. gradually as you prove your ability to be profitable over months. Also, hire a mentor if you’re serious. I won’t recommend one as there are many great traders who offer mentoring, do your own research, watch hundreds of trading videos here on KZbin and allow your mind to absorb and understand this whole complex thing that is finance and investing. 99% won’t commit the effort to become competent and will chase profits before they’re skilled enough to earn them. This, 99% will fail. Be the 1% that treats this like the serious, complex, risky business that it is which can be very rewarding if you EARN IT. There’s no such thing as luck, if you believe in that nonsense play the lottery. Reality is cause and effect and if you cause yourself to become competent through working smarter and harder than the 99% to understand the markets, the effect will be profiting from their ignorance. Go get it!

I beleive but they are loads of different ways and to much noise you can easily get confused some people say study the month up words to the minutes other say start from the day and work your way up to make your entry

Trading with small amounts. Lol not me, I trade hundreds and the profit returns is ridiculous!!! I do 14 trades a day and average 10-12 clears out of 14 trades a day. That's upwards of 6300$ a day

I think everyone should trade off the daily chart exclusively. Nothing more or less and with the strictest money management, even literal guessing without any indicator or wiggling trend line to misguide (or guide whichever way you look at it) you, you'll kill the markets even as a beginner with mere intuition 😂😂😂
