If you don’t have Wu Kong then Brienne fits as an alternative. Both of them are not musts to complete the stages. Important part is surviving til the end. Wu kong was put in because of double yellow.

In my opinion Brienne works for low level stages but it's getting hard to use her for over 3500/3600 level where she just gets one shot by bosses. There is no way to end the S1 23-11 with Brienne for instance.

I agree with Henrique. While risky as per Wu Kong's ability, the damage a special can do is obscene when it hits when buffed by both Gambler's Stance and Warcry. I presently use a team consisting of Melendor, Wu Kong, Boril (or Cyprian, depending on whether Ice or Dark is better for the board), Boldtusk, and Peters. I also have Colen maxed out, and a good few other 4* heroes to level up. I haven't gotten a lot of heavy hitters in terms of specials yet, apart from Scarlett and Colen. Peters is great for just wrecking things if I get a decent amount of Nature shields, especially on bosses as that silence can give me that little bit of breathing room I need. All in all, excellent video. I didn't learn anything I didn't already figure out for myself, but seeing an effective strategy for beating a stage that is close to 300 higher power than your team is always awesome.

I think a few lvl 4's on your team for beginners is pretty typical. However, I doubt they would be fully ascended. Maybe 3/4 in terms of progress. Arrow attacks are pretty useful for starting the levels off because like you said these are the most difficult. You could also bring some mana potions to quick start some specials that you need! Without paying money into the game you can probably get a 4* hero in the game from summoning portals (collecting gems) or t13 training camps.

Many will not have a level 13 troop. So this should be done with much lower troops. I saw 5 or 6 diamond opportunities that were missed. Not a big issue, but it surprised me that they got missed. Without Wu Kong, bring someone that provides a defensive buff. That way their attacks won't 1-shot your heroes. A time stop is excellent as it drains the enemy mana and adds turns before they can attack you again. Very useful on Titans as well though they are expensive to make.

5:20 Could have created a new diamond by drawing the blue diamond down 1 step instead of just clicking it. I am sure you just missed it this time, but can be very advantageous to think about for someone who doesn't. Thanks for the video!

At 10:15 a better play was to make the blue match on the right side, which would have moved the yellow to the left and allowed you to make the yellow diamond you wanted, without depending on luck from the bottom of the screen. Good strategy otherwise, pretty much the same as what I came up with while trying to do hard stages. Kiril is great as a healer using this strategy because you can try to both set him off and have him ready for a new heal before going into the next stage, though this requires some finesse setting up because his effect only lasts a few turns :)

You can use BT with Melia to get great damage that wouldn't cause Grimm's special to miss. Brienne works, too. Kailani combined with Kiril, always keeping one defensive buff active, would keep Brienne and/or Melia alive. So maybe this mostly 3* team: Brienne, Kailani, Melia, Kiril, Hawkmoon. (And spirit link gives Brienne's berzerker more buffs upon hit!).

For most people, heavy hitting fast 4* green snipers are rare, so apart from Caedmon (fast), most people are limited to Skittleskull and Little John (both AoE) who are both slow mana and take an age to charge. Try stacking 1 to 1 damage heroes like yellow and purple to defeat the blue tank.

Your blue diamond could have been used and created another blue diamond if dragged down one. I noticed that's one thing a lot of players don't do they just fire off diamonds without seeing if they can use it to create another diamond, I always check, and do so is that wrong?is there a reason nobody does this?

They usually come along if you fight titans, do the wanted missions, and quests, but they're scarce. The only ppl who lvl up 4 and 5*s quickly pay money for gems and when they see specials, they use the gems until they get whatever materials they need. I need 8 sturdy shields rn and i could probably use the same amount of hidden blades. I also need more gloves and compasses. I've heard it can take 6 months or more to lvl up a 5* without paying for materials and that seems about right.

I have only played the game since November last year and I see how everyone has their players leveled up to the highest and little numbers called nodes on the little yellow arrow parts. What the heck is that all about, please? By the way, I am in an alliance where there are only four to five players who actually play the game. The leader and co-leader haven't played for over a year or so. Gets disheartening seeing other alliance members doing absolutely nothing...*sigh* I have six 5 leveled stars but I prefer my 3 and 4 leveled players instead. Especially, if I combined them just right. I also saw on another comment thread that I am like you. I have almost completed both stage 1 and 2 as well. I honestly have to agree on with most of what you said as it is a game where you see players for what they are due to the way they play the game. @@ZoomZoomBoom24 oh wow, thanks Patricia. Idk about calling them nodes, but i think you're talking about using emblems for the talent grid. The talent grid pops up after you've completely leveled any hero, regardless of their rank. You just have to be careful how u use them. Usually, I see a lot of ppl making up their own terms for items in this game when they only believe they know how to play, but maybe they're supposed to be called nodes idk lol. One person i ran into used to call the stages in the provinces "stories", someone else calls trophies "raid points". Typically those ppl make up those terms to make themselves feel like experts or something. Leave that alliance and find another one. Seriously. One of my alliance's requirements is that players be active. If someone won't be playing for more than 5 days or so, we're supposed to let one another know or be kicked. If we're kicked because of an unexpected absence, we can just join again, no hard feelings, but that's never happened. The only person exempt from being kicked is our alliance's founder. Even I'm subject to being kicked if I don't play for an extended amount of time.

With a 3 star team, Gunnar or Kailani for the +63 defense buff and damage sharing can make a real difference. Take your time and running with two healers can make a difference as specials just won't cut it so you rely on tile damage.

Hi i have a question for kelile. This hero it has two abilities the 320% attack which is max level and the burning which is Being made 360 damage for 6 turns. My kelile is tire 3 in 54 level and it has 320% attack and 294 damage for 6 turns. If i have it in tire 4 with max level and the burning isn't max can i feed my hero to have the burning max level too like i can made the same for the first skill? Did you understand first of all?

You can still feed a hero at max level if there special isnt at max. The only time you cant feed a hero is when its max level and max special.

You should've pumped up Bane with BoldTusk before attacking that last enemy on level 4. Using specials doesn't count as a turn. So it would've been the same as firing BoldTusk on the Boss level.

It's serious for those who like to strengthen their teams. Especially, if you get attacked a lot by people who learnt this strategic tactic. Your tank is usually the one in the middle which is your strongest hero, which is the one that is tougher in attack, defense, health etc. Your offense is usually those beside your tank. Some players will put in a couple of defensive heroes beside their tank. Then your healers/defense are those that are usually placed on the outside. These are the ones that can be ( if chosen wisely ) the hardest to kill in a war, or raid. Watch and learn from this guy, from NittanyLionRoar, and Yukisama ( can't remember his last name but he is German and has a lot of useful information for those who want to learn. If you are on Empire and Puzzles then you should also learn about strategy, hero placement, hero strengths, which heroes are most important in battle etc. For example: Tank could be Frida. Offensive could be Wu Kong and Ranvir beside Frida then beside Joon could be Boldtusk and beside Wu Kong could be Seshat. That is one example. My team is Frida as Tank, Buddy beside her on the left and on her right is Hu Tao with Rigard next to him and then Kunchen beside Buddy. I change them around according to circumstance. I'm a new player and I have learned this from my team members in my alliance and on discord where the leader goes into great depth about everything that we may have missed in general. Also: If you have an android phone then go to play store and look for an app called, Empire and Puzzles Companion as it shows you everything about the heroes ( past and present ) and what their strengths, health, defense is in your teams. Hope that helps. Ps. Don't forget to look for a great alliance that will help you to grow as a player.

On attack, the concept of a tank is kind of meaningless as all attacks are special, not tiles. On defense, you need a solid tank as 3 out of 5 attacking tiles are going to hit the tank first.

A 185% attack buff for all attacks, but the downside is that 32% of attacks miss. Now you can't miss a Titan and Wu will double your scores just there and you will still end up way ahead with 32% missing attacks on regular monsters or heroes.

It was suggested to me to join a training alliance, one that has a lot of beginners in it. It's less intense. I like the alliance I've joined (Re'Exhistence). It may just be helpful to join one to get tips and help you level up faster through wars and titans? You can always leave if you don't like it :)

Everyone is saying this is a major play to play game. Even the moderate tier spenders have stopped spending. Due to the bad payouts, and continuous updates. What is your experience and are you a spender?

Aries Might He definitely spends something as you can see his VIP pet dragon you get with a subscription, sitting in its nest on the stronghold 😉 But yeah, the rate of return in this game is pretty bad - especially when you look at the odds of getting each item - in the bundles that say “at least 2 of the following” there’s usually only a 10% chance of getting 3 drops - and having the 2 least useful and common items in the bundle with odds as high as 33% each with the rest of the items however many, making up the remaining 33% between them. There’s a bundle currently available with ascension items - and the items like shield or gloves have just a 1.4% chance of dropping - for 600 gems a piece that’s going to end up really expensive if you rely on this for getting certain items. Just my thoughts - fun game but as less people are paying money, it’s starting to become a more obvious money-grab 😉

So, I'm like a total noob at this game is there any literature I can read that tells me what hero is best for what. I've seen on forums that some heros are good for defense some are good for raids and some good for wars, etc, etc. I just want to learn this game it seem that it so much deeper than it seems, I look forward to any pisti e feedback I will not respond to sarcasm or being rude. mirrorless It took me two tries. Went with Rigard, Wu, Guin (3-67), Gormek, Melendor (3-60). First run I had Sonya in for Guin, but she wasn’t doing any damage, in Guin went.

you should use wukong before the attack because it gives 170 % more power for the heroes

you probably don't want to miss with those, especially if you are using them more for the armor debuff/blind, the tile damage will be the raw power tbh.

I'm still using 3*s as well. As long as they're levelled up to their full potential and u manage to pick the right lineup for your teams, u should be ok. My fave 2* heroes are still Olaf & Zudak. Fave 3* heroes (so far) are Bane, Balthazar, Belith, and Gan Ju. Azar & Valen are pretty good as well, but I'm still levelling them up. The best reason to have 5* heroes is to earn cups from raids.

@@medjhanimarriott9605 uh, yh they do. I currently have 1500 trophies and I'm one of the top players in my alliance and I still use 3* heroes. Certain 3*s are weak imo, but many of them are extemely useful when levelled up to their full potential: Bane, Belith, Berden, Gunnar, Valen, and Balthazar to name a few of them. I've noticed a lot of ppl don't know how to play this game and think that all they need are 4 and 5* heroes, but I've kicked many teams' asses with what they consider a pitiful lineup.

@@jfrandeli Wow. Rude much for no reason? Judge whatever and however u wish, but the only people who think "3s ain't s#!t" are the main ppl who spend a bunch of money and don't really know how to play E&P. I take it you're in one of those alliances with requirements like "no less than 2000 trophies" or bs like that. I personally don't want to be in one of those alliances and I'd rather be in one with decent ppl. Also, this is a GAME and i think ppl who spends hundreds of dollars playing this are idiots (those in the "high brow" alliances for instance). 2 more things: it takes a long time to get required materials to level up 4 and 5*s--unless you're willing to spend a lot of money; also, certain quests require 3*s so a lot of ppl lvl them up and continue to use them. Perhaps you should learn how to play this game rather than @-ing ppl who actually know how to use heroes that you clearly don't understand.

A cascade or a two or three special combo. She can take hits but is nowhere near the nastiest opponent you will meet in game.
