Can you test if you can bring back a soft dead ship with the Hand Tool and rmc? Would be very cool 😎

Hi , good job with toturial. BTW what is the folder name of the new live 4.0 ? I always change names from EPTU to LIVE to just download files that changed (don't have space for many game builds) . I'm asking because there are two live game now - 3.24 and 4.0 , I image that they can't have same folder name - LIVE.

I am not home yet to test it out, but in the past, I think i just started up the download and canceled it once it downloaded a mb or two. It should create the folder, and then you can rename your eptu to that new folders name and be good to download the difference, just make sure you run a verify and delete shaders folder before jumping in. Hope that helps

@Ericdanman2 thanks, it is a solution, but in reality it is easy to guess, game builds name= folder name

@tomcatvrkalisz820 After I got home, I checked. If you hit install, it tells the full file path and name of the new folder even before you begin the download. So just close the launcher, rename the eptu or ptu folder, and it changes the button from install to update.

can i use normal methods in old days to make money in 4.0? things like doing bunkers, or there are new ways/missions to make money early game in 4.0?

Missions were buffed so it's a great way to make money. I'm still working through everything to see what's optimal

I'm brand new to the game, my friends had me skip the tutorial and I can't eat or drink. I can't place my helmet in my inventory, and if I place my helmet into the storage thing it still won't let me eat or drink. It only lets me place objects even if I hold the button
@TheCoreGameplay15 сағат бұрын
Did you try pressing Alt + H to remove your helmet? Then you can eat and just press it again to put it back on

I was messing with my HOTAS setup and crashed my tutorial ship.. Respawned and my ship is gone.. Can't deliver.. Claim.. Nothing there.. Bug I guess

You'll probably have to do a character repair on website
@marcverdel19362 күн бұрын
@TheCoreGameplay Tried that.. I don't think reset is working on 4.0.. Said reset successful.. But didn't reset lol

This (bad) tutorial will played by 0 people, because all masochists are already playing Star Citizen. I wasn't able to complete the tutorial despite having played the game multiple hundreds of hours. Necessary Keys do not get explained, Multiple steps are unclear and explained badly, it's buggy AF. I ask myself when the devs will ever release something to/for this game that is not a rushed attempt at adding features on top of a semi functioning mess.

Oh it's awful, it has so many bugs and things left out. I was surprised how little it actually does.
