to make sure it's clear, I don't need to file separate property form if both parties do not want to list properties or fight over it, or do I still have to do it no matter what? On form FL-142 states on top This form should not be filed with the cort. Is it optional?

Question, I just requested petition for my divorce case for petition filed in 1987 with superior court of California.. will the petition show the date of marriage?
