For all of those asking, no, you don't need to be a thief and a hacker at the same time, you can just be a thief and take the keycard from a guard you knocked out, and no, looping cameras isn't necessary, if I could complete the mission with the cameras on and without a keycard scrambler, then you can too

Thief is the most common type, so if you are a thief, I suggest just knapping a keycard from one of the unfortunate guards you can come across.

There is a much safer disguise method. The one you showed was unreliable and solely based on luck. Step 1 - Climb the crate to the right of spawn. Shake your camera while spam jumping in the corner to wallhop on top of it. If there is a guard on the catwalk spot near the ladder, jump back down and wait for them to leave. Step 2 - When the guard leaves/if its not there, jump onto the beige crate (not in front of the guard below if there is one) and climb the ladder onto the catwalk. Alternatively you could just wait for the guard to leave, but the guard can't see behind you anyway. Step 3 - Loop the camera, hide between the stack of crates and the shelf, and wait for the catwalk guard to come to the spot next to the ladder. Step 4 - When the guard reaches the spot, shoot your supressed gun at the corner and peek to get the guard's suspicion meter to 3 bars. On higher difficulties, if done correctly this guard will not have a radio. Step 5 - Knock out the guard when its behind cover, bag the body, take the disguise, and hide it in the corner between the stack of crates and the shelf. This guard will respawn when you leave this area, so it is important to hide the body. Enjoy your disguise! - level 100 infiltrator

idk if it's just me but i've tried 20 times so far and i can't even get past the first room without getting compromised. i try to get the guards in convenient places, i answer the radios, i remove the keycards from the ground, everything, yet i keep getting caught. even if sometimes im not doing anything and still wearing a disguise out of nowhere it's just "a guard saw (my name) and sounded the alarm" and no i did not stay in their field of vision for long.

@@super_manul1167 yep i know, but i wasn’t in one. It’s just the first room every time. Or guards find a dead body when i hid it in the container. Which they shouldn’t be able to. I passed the level without stealth kn the end and just became a bullet spunge and the other levels do work somehow. Idk what it was about this mission.

this is helpful but i always mess up so like i lockpick door - someone just comes out of there i try to go behind cover - someone is there - if i go try to hide - i get detected the best i did was find the commander but i got detected after a guard saw the commander being held hostage and i dont know what to do now

there is a problem though, if you are a hacker, to take the "fake" access card the lockpick is not in the hacker's equipment, but in the thief's, and of course the thief won't even be able to take the Keycard fake, in his equipment, so that's the problem.
