I enjoy utilising bossa nova for beach themes at night

Good choice!

Really nice tutorial! I love that there's people adopting synthets more accessible style. I'd love to have seen more reasoning behind why you chose the key and chords even if thats just "lots of beach tracks use x chords in these keys" with examples

For sure! I will keep that in mind for the next videos to come. The only reason why i exclude some information is just to make sure its not too packed with information in the short duration of the video, but that is something i will have to figure out! 😉

These Scandinavians have really got the accessible FL tutorials figured out haha! As a fellow Scandinavian, I might need to start making Logic tutorials soon. But seriously, these videos really capture the joy of creating music while also inspiring others by sharing what you've learnt along the way. Keep it up! :D

amazing video, but can you go more into detail on *how* you made the chords jazzy? thank you !
@EmilLudvigsenMusic23 күн бұрын
Thank you for the kind words! To make the chords sound jazzy, I used extended harmonies like 7ths, 9ths, and 13ths, as well as altered chords with sharp or flat notes (like ♯9 or ♭13). I also experimented with voice leading and inversions to create smooth transitions between chords. 😊

They are both from FLEX and if you search "Steel pan" or "Marimba" you will find them in the plugin. ☺️ (There is a search bar at the bottom of flex)
