EDIT: alam ko na yung 150, yun yung actual selling price mo. ibig sabihin kung magkano mo sya tlga ibebenta. ngayun, balik tayo sa actual na tanong ni kuya, so bali ganto: FOOD COST computation: 170.40 (food cost of beef brocolli) / 400 (kung magkano mo sya gusto ibebenta) = 42.6 % (food cost percentage) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXW7kpKLmqtkhLM ngayun may bago akong tanong.. pano kinukuha yng gross profit? EDIT: nagets ko na yung tanong ko lmao, gross profit ito yng actual price mo after mo ibawas yng FOOD COST sa SELLING PRICE. Is this already a given formula? Is this the number of pax who will be served? Kung magsosolve kelangan ba talaga is x100? Salamat po.

@@elynorgrace ahh, kase decimal form kase yung sagot nya na 0.3041. kelangan lang i multiply sa 100 para i convert from decimal to percent.. (ibig sabihin kse ng percent by 100) ganyan lang tlga sa math, pwede mo multiply by 100 or move lang decimal place 2 times to the right. kaya 0.3042 naging 30.41 %.. minove lang sa hundredths place

I'm cost accountant here in abroad sa isang malaki restaurant po.. comment ko lng po may nakalimutan ka po ata sa calculation mo sa food cost kailngan niyo po indicate kung gross method or net method dun sa ingredients niyo. Dapat naka indicate kung yield rate niyo sa ingredients.

As mentioned on the later part of the video (around 21:30) and pop-up notes there are other costs to be added and should not settle for 35%. The way I made the video kasi should reciprocate my target audience, that’s why it cant be too technical. Kailangan kong iexplain to sa pinakamadaling paraan na mauunawaan to ng target audience ko. Im speaking to people with little knowledge on the industry that’s why it cant be too technical baka hindi ko maitawid sa viewers yung intentions ko. That’s why here in my channel I promote na kung nahihirapan sila on certain parts ng pagplan ng small businesses nila i tell them “to hire a professional” like you Sir, who can definitely do things the right way for them. At least for now that im still testing waters sa range ng audience ko, I need to do it on the most basic way possible na mauunawaan to ng average person especially those na wala masyadong knowledge on accounting, even to those that are not really good in math. For sure u get my point Sir. If u’re running a channel Sir, i would love to collaborate with you, if some of my audience are looking for more advanced accounting tutorials im very much willing to pass them over to your channel. Ako kasi hindi ko ata kayang gawin on a video pag masyadong technical i’d rather do it by myself. Feeling ko kasi hindi nila ko maiintindihan sa video pag masyadong technical one-way kasi yung medium, hindi nila ko matatanong habang nageexplain ako, makakapagcomment lang sila after i upload the video. Ma'am with regards sa unit cost ng ingredients, how often do we need to update our list? Kasi with small business like siomai/burger na hindi naman makakabili in bulk, medyo volatile ang prices. Mag aadjust ba kami like stick kung ano highest na quote ni supplier? Or iactual then araw araw mag update?

Hi! Question po.. pano po kaya icompute ang cost per piece or per pack pag magkaiba ung sizes ng cookies (big and small) in just 1 batch? For example, instead of making 36 pcs of cookies or 3 dozens of cookies, i meade 12 pcs or 2 dozens AND 3 bigger pcs of cokies. Thank you! I hope you can help me with this.

Ang costing po ay nakadepende sa standard recipe icost nyo po ng naaayon sa recipe nyo and as per yield, i-divide nyo po ung “total food cost” ng isang recipe kung ilang pirasong cookies ang nagawa nyo. For example 50 pesos ang total food cost ng 1 whole recipe nyo, for big size lets say 5 cookies lang yield nyo then food cost per piece is 10 pesos. Kung small halimbawa 10 pcs yield then food cost per piece is 5 pesos.
