How to configure Honeycomb Bravo Reversers for the Airbus

Its all in the title. While filming this I did discover what I think is a bug with the Showcase camera.... although Asbo may consider it a "design intent"

Thanks, genius! I been simmin for 20 years and I couldn't figure this one. Anyways, this technique also works for Longitude. It is important to note that MFS reverser logic is basically on/off. Both the throttle and the reverser levers work as buttons. The throttle is no longer an axis beyond the detent! This is fine for Longitude because the reversers are fadec guided. They basically come on, all or nothing, at about 75kias, even tho engaged at higher speed, and the manual recommends disengaging at 45 kias. The Longitude is great G5000 aircraft, btw. Highly recommended. Things have never looked brighter for RW simmers. Good luck.

What I would find helpful now (Dec 2021) is how to align the Bravo throttles with the FBW A320 using the configurator in the EFB. Any ideas? Thanks.

It’s easy . Uncheck reverse on axis ( toggle ) and calibrate it till idle . Follow reverse instructions from the video and you should be good to go ( make sure you uncheck reverse axis in throttle axis too )

How is throttle decrease moving the throttle into the REVERSER detent ? I cant seem to make this work with my setup. I have Bravo throttle and 1 year experience with MSFS. I notice that you did not use the A320nx ? any comments on that add on ? Anyway thanks for the video... Im still looking for the vibrating chair pad - do you know where they are selling those in the "Western" world ?

How would you set this up if you're using the Airbus Throttle Pack from Honeycomb? They don't have the reverser handles.

I believe that the flight controls are inactive in showcase/drone view mode by default which is why you couldn't see the reversers working in that view. However if you press C then the controls will become active in that mode. However you would loose control of the camera I think. One way around that is use a separate controller like an XBox one for the drone view. I haven't personnaly tried it yet myself. Just something I read.

And dont I feel like an idiot. I was playing around with configs and found that option in the keyboard setup. I get why they do it so the problem was not the software but the human interface :-)

I don't know why this is not working for me, I have the same throttle, and the same plane and I followed your steps to the T. however, when I bring both levels "throttles" down all the way, it still activates the reverse throttle even though I haven't used the two small levelers on top. Am I doing something wrong?

Anyone know how to do this.. if I am using the general aviation throttles?.. because it’s not realistic using Boeing throttles on an airbus.. that’s degrading lol

u cant "fly the plane" in showcase/Drone...only in external

When in showcase mode it never shows any inputs, if you are in that mode then setting landing gear does nothing, nor does setting flaps etc, showcase mode does not allow inputs other than screen recording & you therefrore have to be either in the cockpit or using the external camera to see any changes that you make and for them to be implemented, sad really as trying to make youtube videos becomes a little dull when you can't do anything in Showcase mode other than move the camera around!!
