It might work better if you open the red tab to release the pressure, then close it back up. Leave it 20min and repeat until the carbonation is reduced. Then you'll be able to pull it through the engine without crazy amounts of foam. And maybe removing the sparkler would help too.

I reuse mini kegs for my homebrew,easy to use 365 if u vent then pour off using the inbuilt nozzle half a pint then pull the red tab out push in pipe and pull gently. If the mini keg is well carbonated best draw off some more, can also get grey bungs to replace the red/black ones which have a 10mm hole same as pipe or ive also got party keg tap which slides in and can add co2 to dispense like a pro.

Experiment with different size sparklers. 0.6mm might be causing too much froth. Go a bit wider if you've got them. Absolutely love the Pint365 system and can highly, highly recommend it. I use mine mainly on 10L & 20L beer in a bag.

Hi buddy... I've had my pint360 for two weeks and all I've had on it at the Moment is the same battels as your showing as they were on sale.. Now I didn't have none of your issues as before I used it I was in deep conversation with one of the pint360 guys and he uses the 5lt kegs with the engine to and he gave me instructions which worked perfectly... 1. Realese the air then let it sit for a few hours. 2. Slowly pull out the bung...... 3. Put tube slowly in down to bottom.... Job done.. No froth at all and points pulled flawlessly... I think the key part is letting it settle for few hours after releasing the pressure... I got another 4 kegs for me and the boys for this weekend..... Keep up the great vids

I've just put my own hand pull in our bar and have a couple of beautiful White Rat mini kegs from Ossett brewery, same beer which goes direct to the pubs. Not tried it yet but, I think you definitely need to let it sit for a while a good few hours, release the presume and carbon. Exactly same as tapping a real barrel, definitely take it easy on the 1st couple of pints and should be OK.

Great video Simon, just shows the difference in taste between a proper hand pulled beer, and pouring it from the bottle. I've been toing and froing about whether to invest in a Pint365, and you might just have convinced me here!

That is pony Si. Get a Lindr or Porta Pint. Can connect to anything and can dispense using inbuilt air compressor or beer gas. What you've poured isn't pub quality.

He needed to have it place and let it stand to settle. Then release so air by turning it before pulling the bung out. Then duct tape round the top of the pipe to keep it in place....
@HayzeeHayes4 жыл бұрын
@@MerseyBeers I understand that but it would be better if the pipe could connect to the tap as it's the outlet anyway and pump straight from the tap. I'd be looking at that myself in the future for my kegs.

@@HayzeeHayes no because he is pulling it through with a cask handpull. The little tap is essentially a gravity pour the same as you would see at a cask beer festival
