@@cawhainhi3074 Check what monitor you have and navigate the button which shows you the settings (similar to a television either at the bottom or behind), reading the manual if your monitor has one helps you navigate through the buttons and ports your monitor has. @@joehall1946 the application opens on your laptop because that is the main display. You'll either need to drag the app everything you open it to monitor or make the monitor the main display.

Another way, instead of going into settings to extend or duplicate, is 'the start button' and 'p'. Press them both together, then it'll give you options (duplicate, extend, only on 1, only on 2).
