Like you video. The lectric tricycle trailer hitch is an awesome find. However, while eyeballing your setup, I noticed a functionally flaw in not switching the tow bar on the trailer for the straighter bar included in the hitch kit… check it out-> You need to change the bar out because you won’t be able to make left-hand turns very well due to the bar rubbing on your left tire… it will effect the left-hand turn radius… try to make a left at 90-degree angle to see what I’m talking about. You NEED the bar for most left turns.

Richard you have to careful making a left-hand turn. The bar will rub on the tire. It does on mine. Gregg

Huh, I'm surprised no one makes just the little adapter. Glad to see it works on multiple trikes with that connection, and adding that connection to a trike doesn't look too hard, especially if you know someone who can weld, if you can yourself, though rigging and attachment may not be too hard,.

The new bar prevents the trailer from rubbing when you make a left turn. That's the reason they created the new tow bar,.

Just watched your video for putting a trailer on your e-trike. It helped me to make a connectior for my e-wheel 19 scooter. I use my pet trailer to carry groceries from the store. Thanks for the lesson.. where can the bar and hitch be purched? Didnt see a link.

Very informative. thank you! I recently bought a Lectric XP e-Trike. I would like to buy a dog trailer for my 70lb fur baby. I will def buy the wag along compatible kit. I am looking at a Doggyhut XL dog carrier. Your thoughts? Also, I need rearview mirrors. Your mirrors look like the size and shape that I would like to have. Can you share what brand, type, etc mirrors that you have? And, one last question, how do you transport your trike? I installed a trailer hitch onto my 2017 Toyota Rav 4. But still cannot find what I need to carry the trike. I can not lift at all. Any suggestions? thank you! and thank you for your videos. Hello Toby :)

I have trailer hitches in each of the 5 bikes we ride regularly. We have 2 100# dogs, so we each take one dog. I call it my butt buster work out. We have the Burley Tail Wagon XL and the girls love them.

That bar you did not use is so you can turn left and the wheelwont rub the tow bar. It seemed good until I turned left, then I realized why the bar that came in the kit has such sharp bends.I Made an 8" extended trailer hitch to allow for that because I didnt by the kit. clearance.

Hi Debbie, sure this kit will work with most trailers . Most of them have the same style connection for the bar so you should be able to easily swap the bar with the one in the kit.

Good spot. Yeah, one is. We realized it about a week after assembly and I just keep forgetting to check it. I think we can just flip it, but not sure. May have to take the tire off the rim. It will get fixed soon.

I dont have a trike, just a step over fat tire folder. I just ordered a seat post mounted trailer from Walmart. I had 2 pull trailers that mounted to the rear wheel, that i donated to a charity. I didnt want another rear wheel attachment again.

Take the one that you already have and have one machine and if it works out get a couple of them made

State law allows municipalities to set their own rules. So that town/island decided to ban them.

Well you showed us how to jerry rig your trailer tow. Now why don’t you show us the hookup with the proper bar installed. Like to see left turns with both. I bet the proper bar will take turns better, straighter, and no rubbing. This was not a proper test or hookup.

OR! ...you can bring that part to a machine shop, have them fabricate a couple of those hitches for you, then return that piece of $*!# back to Lectric for a full refund.🙂
