So................. on a road trip you are expected to rundown your phone battery for hours, then un-plug phone from car radio aux to charge back phone battery with same port. Wow, that sounds like progress to me. You either listen thru phone, or you charge phone, because to can't do both!

The cable is “super easy” but the damn iPhone will not divert the signal to the Aux connection. I have a Apple cable with a 3.5MM male end. Everything as far as physical connection is fine but the phone never sends a signal through the cable.

Did you see if there is an “aux” setting on your car stereo? You might just have to change the input on the stereo

For me when I plugged in my dongle to the earbuds I got a notification saying what the input was going to support and I said like headphones, that’s why I think it doesn’t work for the aux
