Nice channel. I have just bought a Minilogue XD, and have a focusrite 2i2. I'm really not sure how to set it up. I see that the XD had MIDI in and out, but Focusrite just has XLR cables. Would you know how I can set this up? With my Behringer TD-3 I just connected the audio interface with a guitar lead. Can I do this with the Minilogue XD?

If you want just hear the sound in DAW, you can connect only audio cable. But if you wand synhronize Synth with DAW, you need to connect midi cable too.

Thx i got it to work. USB only transfers midi data not sound. Needed a interface to plug in the outputs.

To play the synthesizer, do I need a music card, e.g. focusrite, or is it enough to connect the synthesizer to e.g. a mixer and you can play?

If you want record your music from synthesizer in high quality, you need a sound card. But if you want just play on synthesizer, you can use headphones, or any speakers. If you have few synthesizers or any music devices, you can connect it to mixer.

So pretty simple: 1. MC 707 sending out midi clock to XD. 2. XD is set to Clock Source Auto 3. The clock fluctuates ever so slightly (a tenth?) so that it is virtually unnoticeable but... 4. When you use a bpm delay, there is a slight pitch shift (due to slight clock movements affecting the delay) about every ten seconds give or take. 5. Its not the MC - everything works just fine with the Novation PEAK (as always - quality synth) 6. Is there any known issues with the clock sync?

Hi! You must put as a master Minilogue XD, and Model samples as slave. In this devices is called External and Internal midi clock synchronisation. For now I broken my camera, so can't make a video.

Yes, sure! You can connect it by midi cable and use synchronization by midi clock.

I tried to connect the minilogue to the bass station 2 this way but it ended up playing notes from both synths at the same time. How I make sure it only sends clock data and not note data?

Hi! I don't use Moog Grandmother, but I think you can sync it if Moog have sequencer or arpeggiator.
