How to Connect different makes of Lithium-Ion Batteries in Parallel

Two different makes of Lithium-Ion Batteries can be connected in parallel, and this works very well. I show in this video how it is done step by step.

"Lithium-Ion" might better read "Lithium iron phosphate" or "LiFePO4", no? I think when most people are talking about "Lithium-Ion", they mean 18650-based batteries. You're technically correct though, albeit using the suitcase term for a specific, isn't always the best thing for the KZbin algorithms. Just a thought anyway, hope it isn't taken as being pointlessly critical. I'm about to try this very thing myself with some of those types of batteries (Dr. Prepare) that were sold with a cheap BMS that couldn't do 24V (2x in series). I've dismantled them, added a better 8S BMS so that I can parallel them with 2x Lion Energy UT1300's in series. Hopefully this works out and doesn't cause weird balancing issues; no way to look at individual cell voltages inside the Lions.

So can you parraller them first then series them if you had 2 differnt type and 4 total, say 2 with Bluetooth and 2 without?

I am about to try this myself. Hoping for the best ! But i charge mine with solar. Only problem is that there hasnt been any sun for over a week now. OMG. Charging them to 100% is goinf to take a while

How then can you connect the inverter to it

The bolts that act as posts where the cables connect are plenty long for more than one connection.. just unscrew the post and connect your invertor. I use wires to the inverter with ring connectors so they lock in place easily and safely. I just made a video on it.
