I can connect my NREAL air on Goovis wireless cast C10 and use windows 11 on handheld pc. The strange part is that on the NREAL glasses i see the top of the screen cut off and it comes out on the bottom of screen... Is there a solution or firmware updater for Goovis cast?

This works well so long as the content is not HDCP protected. So purchased moves, Netflix and other paid streaming platforms will not work with it on the iphone platform. While Apple is very proprietary, HCDP is NOT it's been a standard since HDTV has existed. In short if you want a AR/Glasses movie watcher get an Android phone or some other glasses that support HDCP. It appears even their Goovis's HDMI port doesn't support HDCP! It's a great display, good fit, light weight, decident sound, adjustable focus per eye! and hobbled and ruined by no HDCP support! Its misleading to say these are iPhone compatible, as most people will want to consume media a lot of which is protected.

What's the HDCP differentiation between Android and iPhone that allows for this? Also would this then well work with iPad then? or HDCP support would be an issue then as well?

@@kishorekanna8270 Apple will not allow their moves, and some streaming services will not allow their content on non-HDCP protected displays for fear of digital ripping.

Hey there do you know if apple fitness plus workouts work with Rokid glasses? I tried connecting wired to the usb c port on my iPad. While KZbin worked fine I didn’t expect to see that I couldn’t view my apple fitness plus workout this way. I’m not sure if the same hdcp problem applies for this content as well

Instead of this clunkly solution, I assume I can just use the official Apple lightning to hdmi adapter and then an hdmi to usb c adapter, right? I wonder if the nreal adapter will work, I will try it after I get my Rokid Airs.

I tried with the lightning to USB-C wire that comes natively with my iPhone 13 Pro, it does not work as the iPhone lighting port does not provide power to the glasses

I seen the Nreal or Xreal adapter uses a battery, only lasts 3 hours each charge.

Every time I try to cast from my iPhone via screen mirroring, it asks me for a code, as if I was connecting to an Apple TV, I tried 1234567 as that’s the only number I got, but it doesn’t mirror 😒
