How To Connect & Link Tarot Cards - Masterclass 2

The two cards which feature in Masterclass 2 are The Knight of Pentacles and Death. We first examine the cards individually before searching for connections and links between them. Then we add extra cards to demonstrate how a story can expand and develop. With a few adjustments, the examples shown can be applied to any area of life depending on the question asked of the tarot.

This can really show how we all can see *such* different scenarios in the Tarot. Everybody can create a different story & direction based on what *they* see, think & believe. I think that’s what makes the Tarot difficult.. to me. Being an air sign, I’m always wondering *whos* depiction is right for any given set of cards. Element of earth & Death? Turning of the seasons. Winter into spring. Spring into summer. Summer into autumn. Autumn into winter. The seasonal wheel creaking along - yes, it takes an entire year, it can be very slow, but it gets where it needs to be.

I really like this interpretation. Yes, with the Knight of Pentacles' boots of clay, the changes Death brings or needs to bring might be painfully slow or reluctantly allowed. Something or someone is dragging their feet, holding back or holding out.

Thank you very much for your tutorials! They are exactly what I need right now! This one got me thinking if you could do one on nuances or overlap between cards? For example, you were saying that Death would sweep away what has to go, even if this knight doesn't want it to go, and I immediately thought of the Tower card. Another example is the Kings and Queens - I know that their predominant feature differs, but then you could say they are all honest and mature, so sometimes such an overlap prevents me from linking them to a specific person. I would personally try the overhand or the fan spread to get reversals! Always trust the deck! If it comes out reversed, then it is ment to be reversed.

What i see here is the same as you about the knight of pentacles doesn't agree with the death card. Similarities they are both in armor both on horses but the disagreement i saw that from the death horse leg is out there ever ready to move but the knight house leg is ever so slightly in front like there on different pages one says yes the other says no like yes, no, yes, no, no, yes,

Hi, what a brilliant observation and completely bang on. The Knight of Pentacles is a slow mover. Sometimes very slow. He needs a push and will be hesitant about taking a gamble, risk or chance. He is a creature of habit, routines and tradition. Death is prepared to take that gamble on the future, to let go of the past, outdated or outmoded ways of being and thinking in search of a better life, place etc. The Knight of Pentacles may prefer to keep things the same, to stay with what is familiar even if it is not in his best interests. The Knight may be stubborn, old-fashioned and hard to convince that new ways or systems may be preferable. Death accepts that change is needed. The Knight might think things are fine as they are or is only prepared to make small changes.

This is so true. We may want to speed up change, for it to happen now. We think we are ready, but in truth we are not. Change will happen when the time is right and not through force or imposed will.
