Rumor has it he’s still clicking continue… Seems pretty straight forward. Nice demonstration thanks.

Was watching this video on my iPad and every time you said hey Siri, it would activate and pause the video.😂😂

If you have a apple tv as a hub is this extra hub still required?
@aeonjoey3d3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Caseta hub is necessary because these don't use 2.4ghz wifi, but a proprietary RF which is MUCH MUCH MUCH more reliable. Same with Philips Hue and other hub/bridge system. I'll tell you, HomeKit is pretty sweet, but 'hub-less' vs 'hub' devices is a night and day difference. I have several homekit bulbs and plugs and every few days i'll get "Updating" or "No Rsponse" - meanwhile my friends with Caseta and Hue have just always-on working stuff. so it's a big improvement, and is why HomeKit welcomes 3rd party hubs and bridges for systems like this.

Why did you have a cut at 26 seconds? How long did it take your light to turn off?

Great video, only gripe I have is you keep saying Siri’s name without bleeping, made my HomePods go off lol

You can change the room names to simpler ones to make her Siri work easier you can also setup floors and turn in all lights out just certain floors or turn off all lights. Sweet automations. I just did my whole house and the only thing I hate is I lost the tactical feel of the switch. But I can say things now like hey Siri dumb living room to 50%.
