Problem
i have place the printer in my office. My office has two rooms. Now i want to print the document from my laptop which is in another room over the Wi-Fi. I don’t want to use the cable as distance is large. So, in short i want to use this printer to print documents from my laptop via Wi-Fi, but inbuilt Wi-Fi hardware not available in the printer. Only way to connect to the printer is via Ethernet port.

Thanks for vid. If you’ve got any ideas for older printers that don’t have the function of putting in IP addresses. I have 4 printers in a print room that all need to be WiFi able. Currently I use a mega long lead and a usb hub.

I got a wifi mesh with Deco X50 and try to install my new Printer Canon E4570 on my Mac it work very well for 7-8 days but suddenly stopped n all my devices. For a few days, I juggled and managed to get back the printer working but again stop and on . I suspect it is to do with the Mesh system. I can see the printer is connected to my wifi, the printer is connected to the same wifi. One of my Deco is the main router and the second one is extension which logically should be only one wifi (dont see any others around) I have restared computer , wifi, printer , remove and reinstated driver... etc... but now I get to a place I dont know what tot do ( Canon and Mac are baliming each other !) hoep I can find a solution here thanks in advance Francois

I have a difficult issue, I have an older printer, HP Laserjet 4000. It does not have an Ethernet port, just a Centronic, 25 pin socket. I was able to use the printer using a printer server, (Jetdirect 170X). The printer was connected to the print server via the centronic cable, and the print server was connected to the modem.router via an Ethernet cable. All was working fine until the pc had a breakdown and I cannot get the printer to work again via the print server. Can you assist? Thank you.

A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
