I just bought a Qukenk tablet from Walmart but it does not have an HDMI connection. It has a USB type C instead. I bought a cable with USB type C at one end and HDMI at the other end but it does not work? Can you tell me what I did wrong or maybe the USB port is not capable of doing the same as the mini HDMI port?

I hear this doesn't work on the newer FIre HD tablets (5th generation). I've tried and it didn't work for mine. Should it still work? I need to be able to send videos from my Fire HD tablet to my tv WITHOUT wifi or hotspot. No internet service or cell service. Would rather view things on a larger screen than the 8" tablet.

Nick, I purchased a cable on eBay which has both HDMI & Micro USB plugs. I want to connect my Verizon Samsung tablet to a monitor. Neither plugs will work, and I cannot display my tablet image, even after scrolling through all TV input settings. I did notice that the micro plug does not go into the tablet port all the way, with about 1/8" left to go. Could this be the problem? I've tried three different monitors with the same result. I'm having a hard time from the adapter for the FireHD 10, 7th Generation (internal screen broken) but used one for my Apple laptop (internal screen broken also). I used a USB-C t to HDMI cable. Any advice finding one for the Fire would be so great. Thank you

I have an Android 4.2 Tablet with the mini HDMI out. I got a Type B to Type C converter, connected to standard Type C HDMI cable and to TV. Sound comes out from the TV too. So it's basically a Video player for the TV.

Then you need to get a special USB to Microwave adapter cable, and plug the other end into a microwave oven. Leave the door open and run the microwave for 90minutes on high, and it will now show up on your neighbours TV. Just knock on the door and ask them to let you in so you can watch it.

I have a 2013 Nexus 7 tablet with Android 5.1.1 and will be upgraded to Android 6. that doesn't have a HDMI port, so to connect to the TV, you'll need to use a MicroUSB to HDMi convertor or connect wireless using Netgear Push2TV. Nothing happens! All I see is a black TV screen! I have an LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet and an Emerson TV with two HDMI ports. My tablet has a USB video output so I bought a USB to HDMI cable, which is what the girl at Best Buy told me it needed. I've tried to connect them several times with no luck at all! Is it my TV, my cable, or just me not doing something right?! I'm quite frustrated now. Any advice or suggestions?? Thank you!

Hi, Thanks for your video....I want to mirror my tablet to my TV....TV is a Samsung Smart TV...Now since the aspect ratio of the tablet is 16:10 and TV is 16:9...I will see black bars on both sides....Will the MHL Adaprter resolve the issue and still project the full screen....Can you please show how will we mirror a tablet with 16:10 aspect ratio....Tablet could be a Nexus 7 or Samsung Tab 4...Please suggest...Also can you give the exact name of the MHL Adapter..

jbtube73 It can if the HDMI has an opening for the big part of the USB. if it only has an opening for the small part of the USB you will have to have to USB cords. One that is regular, and one that has an opening where the big part can fit into the other big part to connect them together. Then you will be able to connect. destroyer It can't work with a USB charger, it CAN work with a USB CORD. If you have an HDMI that has a USB port you can use an USB cord. If you do, follow these instructions and it will work. You will need 2 USB cords, one that is regular and one that has a big part where the other big part to the USB can fit into that one. then plug the regular one into the HDMI, and plug the bigger ending into the other bidder ending of the second USB. the. plug your phone to the last piece. it should work. if you don't have the pieces necessary, it will not work, and this information will be of no value.
