HDMI out on Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet (2021)

Hello, I recently purchased the Mira Plug and successfully used it to connect my FireHD 10 to the TV. It works but I can't, watch Netflix with it - the screen picture comes up, but when I try to play a movie it will only play the sound on the TV, not the picture. It plays videos fine from other sources though, such as the BBC iplayer. I've checked that it's playing all videos in SD, including Netflix, so it's not that. Can you help please? My main reason for buying the connector was to be able to watch Netflix on the TV. Any advice gratefully received, thanks Sue

With this connection can I watch anything on my TV that I can watch on my tablet? Like Netflix or Hulu? I am asking because I need this set up to watch while on vacation on a farm where there is no internet and my tablet will be the only access to the apps via a hotspot from my phone. Thanks!

Can I use any of the same type cord or does it have to be that brand? Or any c to HDMI? Do I have to have the Playstore to do it? I have a friend able to put it on there so that's fine, but it changes the order I'm doing things.

What generation fire is this? Is this 9 or 10? Kindle doesn't give you a year, it gives you a generation number.

@randyjohnson4007 I got a Miracast compatible cable that has 3 connections for HDMI, USB (power) and tablet end Type C, downloaded the miracast app and no charge at all
