To online monitor the application configuration, the complete IED configuration must first be written to the IED. - Only when the application configuration in the IED and PCM600 are the same, the online monitoring starts. - When the IED does not support online monitoring, the button is disabled. - The Work online function is not supported if the split window is enabled.

I had connection with new ABB Relay RET670, there is green signal as shown(no any red cross), this means there is sound connection. But when I tried to read for the internal configuration of relay setting in order to check and modify as per our requirments, while using read option or write option, it cant read issuing . It issued :Configure IED first. with remarks Cancelled> is there any configuration still do be done, what exact configuration is it looking for. At some point it "common read/ write menu", it comment section while writing it issued error at application configuration point and then signal matrix error(just flash for very short time which i got by using camera video mode to get what exaclty happened. But I coudnt configure the source of exact problem.

Hi ABB, can you please make a video on how to set the reclosing function (DARREC) of RER615. Also, in the phase and ground directional settings, is changing the curve types requires the change in the parameters (A, B & P)? For Schneider and SEL relays, the curve type does not require the change in parameters except for customized curves. We've done a SCIT, but the actual trip time does not match with the computed. Dear Ilaya, The primary equipment can be controlled via the LHMI with the Open and Close buttons when the protection relay is set to the local-control mode and accessing the control operations is authorized. @@ILAYARAJAraja, The synchronism and energizing check function SECRSYN checks the condition across the circuit breaker from separate power system parts and gives the permission to close the circuit breaker. SECRSYN includes the functionality of Synchro check and energizing check. In the command mode operation, an external command signal CL_COMMAND, besides the normal closing conditions, is needed for delivering the closing signal. In the command control mode operation, the Synchro check function itself closes the breaker via the SYNC_OK output when the conditions are fulfilled. In this case, the control function block delivers the command signal to close the Synchro check function for the releasing of a closing-signal pulse to the circuit breaker. Hi Akay, Thanks for your question. Application Configuration tool in PCM600 is not available for 611 series relays. You can use Parameter Setting Tool (Generic logic settings) in PCM600 for signal configuration of 611 series. Like shown in the video, in web HMI there is an easy way for signal configuration in 611 series as well. Regards, ABB Learning
