OMGOODNESS!!! You have NO idea what your video just did for me! I have had this Cannon printer for TWO years and could NEVER set the damn thing up. I even got my techie nephew over here to connect it. NOPE! He stayed here two hours and gave up and this is the kind of work he does at the university We have in our small town. Anyway, a few minutes ago I told myself that I would try ONE MORE TIME and then I would throw the damn thing in the garbage. Eureka!!! Your awesome video went step by step and showed me exactly what to do! Now I’m about to print a damn return label for Amazon as well! I’m shocked, amazed and thrilled that you put this on KZbin for all us dummies that want to quit fighting the tech world! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I've had my Canon TS5100 for over a year and every so often I'd get fed up of attaching the cable and refer back to the instructions, and immediately give up! thanks. that was so much clearer than the bits in the manual about this. the only difference we had, we weren't re-establishing connections , we were changing over to wifi from wired. so just in case it helps other people.....the "old" printer in control panel/devices...was showing offline/ not connected. we then just added new device...and it found the "new" wireless/wifi printer...and it was good to go ! :)

Hello! Today I got my Canon printer. It‘s the same model like yours! I connected it via WiFi but not manually but I did it from my MacBook. But in the next few weeks, I‘ll get a new router. So that‘s the way to setup a new router and using AirPrint like before? I don’t know why these instructions in the video aren’t shown in any handbook manual of Canon! Btw really good video! Gave it a like. 👍🏻

Well Tom, I did finally get the computer connected to my WiFi. After that, it all went down hill. No matter what I did the dang thing would not print. In desperation to print my Amazon return label I worked another six hours and finally gave up. This is a piece of S _ _ _ printer and I will never purchase anything from Cannon again. I’m DONE! Thanks again for showing me how to sync it to my WiFi. At leas I learned that much! Ugh

Thanks for the help! My computer seems to be able to find the printer but when I press print, it just says “printing 1/3, 2/3, 3/3” as if it’s printing but nothing happens and then it says it’s done but nothing has printed

Make sure that you press the on button on the printer before you try to print anything, you may also have to go into your settings on your printer and make sure that articulating with your computer

Hi i just bought cannon ts5050 and all set up ...only the paper wont feed through, when it does 4-5 sheets come out at the same time, i've carefully followed the instructions on loading the paper, yet it will not feed, keep getting message to load paper in tray AAARRRGGGHHH my patience waring thin, any suggestions please

For some reason it’s grabbing more than one sheet at a time so you may want to try a different type of paper

Once you’ve connected the canon to the network you should just have to click on your printer icon and it should see it and you should be able to go ahead and print at that point good luck thanks for watching

@@user-xs9jl1dd1i yeah, you can use two options, both are working: 1) WPS push button on your internet provider router, but read in google how to use that button, it will allow to enter to all devices in home without any password, but there is timing in that, the process should be finished within one minute or something, it`s for safety, so it will not be open all the time, otherwise anyone will be able to connect to your internet.. 2) second option is: you can call your internet provider company and ask them to change the username and password for your wifi. This option also can work. Good luck Dani.

I mean if you change the username and password for your internet, your printer will see it and will ask your new password, this is what you need. But the problem that not all internet providers can change it, so better to go with 1st option.

Once you’ve gotten to the place where you have to put in your password it’s going to show you a grid and then you’re going to hit OK and it’s going to give you your keyboard if you look to the bottom right corner you’ll see an AA and numbers so you have to use the arrows to navigate down to that and click on it and now you’ll have capital letters and there you can also get numbers good luck thanks for watching

Thank you for this video - the dickheads that manufacture & sell this crap device should be taken out in public & flogged. I went through the "manual" both the paper version & on their site - total gibberish with no real explanation. The garbage machine still will not scan unless connected by usb cable but hey, be thankful for what you have!
