I would suggest not connecting your phone to Bluetooth if you plan on using CarPlay. As a matter of fact, Intellilink will disconnect from the phone’s Bluetooth once CarPlay is selected. Depending on how you answer phone calls, the call may default back to Bluetooth and cause trouble linking back up to CarPlay afterwards.

Does the vehicle have CarPlay integration? You would see the logo or "Apple CarPlay" on your screen or in settings.

Yes, the home screen shows the projection logo and in settings it shows the carplay, which you see the add device but wont allow me to click it. And my phone carplay under settings shows its loading for devices but nothing ever appears

@@isaacherrera3287 Hm, without actually seeing everything we would recommend unpairing everything and resetting, then trying again. Also be sure you're using an original Apple cord, as some third party cords do not work properly.

You have to make sure you have an iPhone, and that your vehicle actually has Apple CarPlay capabilities. If you're sure it does, perhaps take it into your local GMC dealer for help!
