Thanks for the video! Very helpful! I found one tweak was needed to capture Zoom video as an input to Vmix. I had to modify my Zoom Video Settings or I would get a blank screen. In Zoom, under: settings/video/advanced, changed "Video Rendering Method", from "AUTO" to "GDI". Then I could do the local screen capture of the Zoom meeting as input to Vmix, and get the video instead of a blank screen.

This is great work. I downloaded A/B Cables and setup. I followed your instructions. I see the meters in vMix moving but don't hear anything. I'm sure there is an explanation, I just can't see it.I saw where you added a plug-in but I don't have one. is that what I'm missing?

I've fixed the infinity window in my last comments, but I still have a horrible echo/feedback in my headphones. You cover this in the video, but I still have an echo even when I turn off the headphones setting in the audio settings. How do I correct this? It's so annoying and makes it hard to concentrate when I hear myself. Can you please help?

Great Tutorial! I only needed part of this because I want to use my pro video camera as a webcam in zoom. I connect the camera to vmix via SRT then use the external output of vmix as the webcam. For audio I just needed 1 one way virtual audio cable from vmix to zoom. The single virtual audio cable was free, no donation needed.

Great video...i just cannot seems to be able to get the FTB to fade the audio using the virtual cable. Am I doing something wrong. The audio in Zoom does not fade out when I hit FTB on vMix.

Dennis Ingles the R axx is used normally as a plug in for bass and guitar. But think of it this way. Guitars outputs a sound wave and so does the human voice. You can choose to use the plugins for whatever wave form you want. It’s all about the result. I use these two plug ins and the vocal rider and the RTA eq. Because Vmix’s audio options are horrible.

Hello there, i have one question. idk why but i should have a sound feedback and thats not happening and i dont know why. i use virtual cable a to send audio from vmix to zoom and virtual cable b to send audio from zoom to vmix. then i sent the virtual cable b output (zoom audio) again into the vitual cable a and hope that i got a feedback and zoom person listen to herself. not happened. any tip? zoom audio process is that good?

When I follow these settings, my camera on Zoom shows an infinity window that keeps going. How do I bring Zoom into vMix and vMix into Zoom and still have the screen show correctly? I followed everything step by step, including adding the audio plugins, but can't seem to figure out how to fix this final step. How do you bring your camera into Zoom without creating this mirror into infinity effect?

Fun fact with this setting, if youre only using splitter audio 3.5 instead of mixer or soundcard, then play video from vmix, and check your mic level bar will dance like the bar on video itself.. so you cant play video while you speaking mic or you will get some echo on zoom :D

I have a situation where there are 30 people in a zoom meeting and the client want to personalize this meeting inside vmix (showing some layout around the participants, showing three persons at same time , etc ) .. every people would talk in certain moment .. so I would have to find a way to map each individual inside vmix .. is there a way to do that ?

One easy way would be to use vmix call. Using Zoom there is a way to move participants around the screen. Once you have them where you want you can lock the meeting so the layout doesn’t change

Yes you can. On the 2nd laptop or computer you can run an NDI capture software like vmix desktop capture

You need two virtual audio cables to bring the video in and out of Zoom. We like this because the audio can be much better. Check out our vMix vs OBS video to learn more about this.

Should I use the output and input from the interface rather than the virtual ones . in my case when I do the testing the output and the input come from the interface not when I tried to use the virtual inputs and outputs . what do you think my friend . Hi Pedro, we are from West Chester, so that's awesome. You can do this with a digital mixer. Digital mixers offer a feature called Mix Minus. The issue is that you need to create a custom mix for OBS and Zoom. You have to be careful what you send or you will create an audio loop

You've earned my subscription! Hi there, I appreciate your video and I followed it step by step but ran into 2 issues I'm hoping you can help with. 1. I am able to send audio to zoom via the virtual cable B but i do not hear any audio coming from zoom back to vmix via virtual cable A. In vmix, i see the bar for that channel lit indicating its receiving something but i do not hear. Also, in zoom audio test, i do not hear anything when the speaker is set to virtual cable A. It works fine if i switch it to my headphones but nothing via cable A which i need in order for the audio to reach vmix. 2. My second issue is with the video received from zoom. It looks good in the preview window in vmix but when i push live, i get a infinite video loop. My objective is to get the gallery view of the zoom call into vmix, add my production elements and push it back to zoom so all participants can see and hear each other while on one screen and also be able to see the other elements like tickers, titles, videos etc that i push from time to time during the service to potray scriptures and announcements. Your input and that of the community would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

1. You may still need to bring the audio input into vMix? 2. Depending on the way you have this set up you may need to use External option 2 or change the way you have your zoom captured (grid view, speaker view) so it's not capturing what it's outputing.

Computer 1: - There's vMix and a soundcard. From the Soundcard the audio is sent to the building mixer. - In vMix can play videos whose audio can be received in the building, zoom and stream. - In vMix can accept zoom participants and can dialogue with those in the building Computer 2: - Here's Zoom. - How to send Audio from Zoom to vMix - In Zoom participants hear audio that is on the vMix computer. You can use the external monitor outputs. Depending on your graphics card you may have a few you can use or you can use an hdmi splitter from one of your monitors to feed the additional 65” lcd TVs
