Wow, I did not think that would come out so gorgeous, I would have never thought to use such a dark color to contour, definitely going to try this, I just wish I had your exact products I can get close with most of the colors I am pretty good with improvising. I saw Just_Anne on KZbin opening a box of your products and idk if you have ever watched her but she's brutally honest and was raving about your products she loves them. I would love to try them

I'm so impressed you let her curl her own lashes. I think that is the scariest part of having one's makeup done by a professional. If the curler isn't perfectly placed, it can REALLY hurt.
@mariawinter25353 жыл бұрын
When I look at your highlighting & contouring techniques it seems as if though there's excessive product on the face. I'm amazed that you can blend it all and make it look so natural. At the end it's all gone except for the colors necessary to make a person look flawless. It's beautiful magic!
@alikacerto228010 жыл бұрын
There are so many negative comments about her looking better with out all of the make up and him using too much make up. It's a make up tutorial. He's not saying she'll look better or that she needs make up to get through this life. He's just showing a technique to achieve a certain look. That's what makeup tutorials are about. And as far as her laughing, I wasn't distracted at all. I didn't even notice she was laughing that much until I started reading the comments. Oh my goodness. Who says make up has to be stuffy? I love that they are having fun! People are people, not robots.

All I can gather from the comments on this video is that people have very small brains and are "too distracted" by a woman smiling to pay attention. Their brains are also so tiny that they don't recognise that the model is being spoken to by the artist and is responding, Interesting that it's mostly women attacking her.
@crystalskyex9 жыл бұрын
ZoeAlleyne just wanted to respond to the last sentence where it says 'interesting that its mostly women attacking her" …maybe thats because its mostly women watching and commenting on this make up tutorial!? I have to say that I have watched several of Goss' videos and I haven't found anything to be so critical about as the comments I read below. If you are irritated by the model stop watching, or don't pay attention to whatever she does that irritates you I guess. I think this is an amazing tutorial. One right after another from this artist. Why focus on what you perceive to be bad? He obviously puts LOADS of effort and time/work into these so I say that everything is fabulous, well done and I cannot wait for more time to watch more of his videos. He obviously knows so much about makeup and its application that he is an asset to anyone seeking help, which you probably all were if you found yourself here as well. So GO GOSS! And help keep me going too with your infinite knowledge of not only makeup as an artist but also the amount of knowledge you possess on anatomical properties as they relate to the makeup and its application is just right on. Thank you so much for your time and for lending your knowledge out to the world:-)

Excuse me but i do have a question. Sure you are ment to sell alot of make up and do commersial for them.. but i wonder if it is possible to get a tutorial on use basic make up that people buy that dont have alot money like, Consealer with write brown light brown and green conselser. normal maskara from isadora or mac factor and brow pen, foundation and powder. how would one use these for the best result. dunnu where the green shall be used or why.. xD and no tutorial here that shows that.. as many sights use nyx or lighter brown conseler
@aprilk285811 жыл бұрын
I'd recommend watching tutorials that have the words "drugstore makeup" in the title. Yes, he does use high-end products but you can still buy cheaper versions from your local drugstore to play around with. Green concealers are used for redness on the face (such as a red mark or red blemish). You should apply a little bit of green concealer to the area, and then apply your foundation on top.
@Meiiiow11 жыл бұрын
Thx :)
@FYEYE10 жыл бұрын
Buy the same products in a cheaper brand alternative. For example if he uses a really bright pink blush by Nars buy a really bright pink blush on sale at the drug store. Make a list of the products and don't include the brand names when you buy.

I've found in my learning that using concealer to highlight is less dramatic and a natural way for me. Not sure if that is the correct term?

Baking is a very old make-up technique, originally used in Drag. :) So yes he was.

Gamer Girl you're joking right?? Go watch the 1st season of RuPauls drag race. They were baking then and that was almost 10 years ago. Obviously they weren't the 1st either. They learned that trick from the drag community who has been doing it for decades.

This is not very non-makeup pro friendly. So many steps, all these high ends words. You need to dumb it down a lot, and make it less scary.

I think the parts that seem foreign to someone not very knowledgeable about makeup are when he is talking about a brush or product he's using. Don't let that scare you though. There's a list of everything he used and the best way to understand what he's saying and why he's using what he's using for what is to look up the products. You'll see a photo, description, and how to use each product. Once you've done that, not only will things make more sense, but you'll be able to order products you like OR know enough about them to purchase a less expensive version. (ie- drugstore version) Makeup can be fun. Don't be scared! :)

Don't let this video scare you off! Wayne is one of THE best makeup gurus on KZbin (My favorite, IMO) but because he discusses sooo much in detail about different makeup techniques for different faces/skin colors/eyelid shapes. Watch some of his more basic videos and you'll see he's actually really good at explaining step by step how to do things.

lupe2235 - Agreed! Love that he's so honest about product reviews as well. If a $9 mascara is fantastic and a $50 mascara isn't, he says so. Never feel like he's pushing product or is a "makeup snob". --He's my fave too btw. Love him!

i disagree, he is speaking The "queens English", there is too much slang and incorrect speech these days that i find it easier to follow someone whom sounds educated!!
