The effect was beautiful. So many you tubers apply such a lot of product on their faces in their tutorials, that it is hard to believe they leave their houses like that. This was much more realistic and looked so professional and soft. 😊

Thank you Ruth and Caroline for this series. I've watched so many makeup videos up through the years, but learned so much from you two! On a side note, I find it so relaxing to watch makeup artists and the careful way products are placed. There and then it looks like it's nothing, but the end result is always perfect.

How young you look and that's not just because of the nice but subtle make up but also because of your good skin which is really a nice canvas for the techniques shown. Thanks for these videos with Caroline, she knows what she does, which you can immediately see when looking into her face. Very helpful!

Does it look a bit orange? At the end it looked a bit much to me...
@luxlagerfeld9 жыл бұрын
+eizhowa Totally. By the end, it looked pretty heavy and "stripey", kind of exactly what they were trying to avoid. Especially when Ruth turns her face to the side, you really see it. When Ruth does her own makeup, it's a lot softer. No shade, just the T.
@skincarewithaustin9 жыл бұрын
+luxlagerfeld Couldn't agree more. :/
@RuthCrilly9 жыл бұрын
+eizhowa oh no really? That could be my fault, upping the definition and contrast as I thought people wouldn't really be able to see what we were doing. Things don't look that punchy filmed in daylight - oh, the irony! : )

@EmilySB1239 жыл бұрын
Thank you!
@SpeedBeautybyCarolineBarnes9 жыл бұрын
+Emily Banks Hi! Ditch the highlighter, avoid placing powder around that area of your face. When you have finished your makeup lightly dab an eye cream around this area ( i do this loads myself) This makes your skin look fresh and hydrated and fine lines will look less exaggerated. I top up my eye cream throughout the day if my skin is feeling dry or I want an extra glow. I hope that helps :)

If it wasn't for this video I would have never ever bought a blush in the shade of soft copper, as the name&shade seems far to dark for fair skin.
