How to control Brown algae in your planted aquarium - 2019 [Diatom]

In this video, we will see how to control brown algae in your Planted Aquarium. You can never get rid of brown algae in your aquarium. In fact, none of the algae can be completely cleared out from your aquarium. you can only control algae in your tank.
Algae is very important in your aquarium just like your lights, co2, and filter.
Brown algae or diatom algae appears in the first three weeks of starting your planted tank.
Usually, due to water hardness, the presence of silicate causes brown algae or diatom algae. Brown algae occur during the cycling period, therefore, frequent water changes in the early stage of setup and adding some algae eaters like Amano shrimp as these algae eaters will eat away all your brown algae.
Brown algae or diatom indicates that its time to add some algae eaters like Amano shrimps or cherry red shrimps.
Algae on glass or algae on plants can simply be controlled by brushing it off and frequent water changes should control the brown algae
