How to Control Slugs

In my parents garden we used the slug pub. The beer 🍻 was attracting all the slugs from the neighborhood to join the party 🎉 Then we had more and more slugs 🐌 🐌🐌 🐌🐌🐌 In the garden. I don't dare to use that method anymore but I will use the methods with the pot and the wood 👍

Maybe move it far away to attract them away from the plants?

We use the bird method and they seem keep our all our plants free of caterpillars and crawling bugs. They’re also fun to watch and hear.

I agree. We recently had a falcon nest in our neighborhood and the nesting couple have been picking off some of my songbirds. The circle of life I suppose.

If you live in an area of the US that has GARTER SNAKES, and the teeny Eastern Brown snakes - Build a loose packed rock pile with an accessible 'chamber' in the bottom-center of the pile. The garter snakes will eventually use the rock pile as den. Garter Snakes LOVE to eat slugs and other insect pests, and will soon 'clear' them.

Some nice info there. As for the beer trap, bread yeast in sugar water seems to work just as well and you don't have to waste beer.😊 It's the yeast/fermentation smell that draws them in I think.

I agree. It would seem like with yeast they could crawl out though. With beer they fall in and drown.
