That's why I searched BCI, I wanted to know whether it's possible..
@user-ij9xi5ey9j4 жыл бұрын
With the chip you will not need vr your brain will get visions that dont exists like a dmt trip it's your brain but what you see is not this plane so the chip will allow you to enter a different dimension threw artificial means therefore giving the effect of vr only extremely dangerous because its gonna effect our spiritual connections that we have naturally by how we were designed be careful for what you wish for
@Drockyeaboi124 жыл бұрын
It will be I suggest focus on the spinal cord and how it interacts with the brain dissecting that is the key

When BCI becomes advanced enough you wont need VR. Instead of seeing light through your eyes, which are then interpreted by the brain. You can just go directly to the brain, giving you potentially more vivid visuals which would not even be possible through your eyes. BCI truly is the future 😁

I have a sister with a brain injury who is stuck in a wheelchair with only a little use of her arms and no finger dexterity. She watches tv but cannot handle a remote and must wait on others to do things for her and to make matters worse she has aphasia and can't always say what she wants. I would sincerely be overjoyed if there were a way she could at least control the tv. And ideas???

I know absolutely nothing about anything relating to this hardware and software (outside of one project I did in high school) but after a little bit of Googling I found out that it's possible to create something like these ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKK4ZJqLnZiklcU&ab_channel=RichWillmore or kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipmro4CNa7ennck&ab_channel=Tinkernut ). Not sure how you would convert brain signals to different buttons on a remote but my guess is that you would attach sensors to the head to read and send brain waves to something like an arduino that's programmed to convert those brain signals into "power tv on/off" and "change channel up/down" and then send that remote input to a tv via infrared. Maybe varying levels of mental focus and relaxation control different inputs? It would probably be very difficult to know exactly how much to focus/relax for whatever it is you wanted to do. Times like this make me really wish I paid more attention in school. Sorry I can't be of much help but I hope I could at least show you that the concept is there so it's possible for your sister to watch tv without help.

We're to start working on a similar project in the next few months. Maybe, unfortunately, we won't be able to help your sister in the immediate future but our products are gonna be so much simpler to use that one could literally get their own things done, with the usage of machines, just like they would do with their body parts, without even consciously thinking about getting the same, done...

See Musks in brain chip. Controlling a remote should be hilds play for that. There was also a project using eye movements in latin america years ago. That is proven tech. There was also videos of people doing left right controls with the mind. There is a toy that you move a ball through an obsticle course using your mind - Mindflex. The issue this group has is that with this open source, hardware can really only only pull one or two "manageble" brainwaves to affect change IRL. Did you see the shark that had to be operated by so many. That is why. Each could only effect a single parameter. You need to into the brain like Musk to get more brain IRL function.
