This is really scary stuff, not unlike the Matrix. The interesting thing is, if the brain hacking is done at a surface level, then it will feel terrible to the person like someone is moving their arms and legs and they are a puppet. Which is more plausible- that the scientists researching this tech reached the experimental phase and, needing an animal testing subject: A. put their research on hold while waiting for a monkey to be found that had had some unfortunate accident (jumped headfirst in to shallow water, ATV accident, wrestling mishap, etc.) OR B. that they just severed the spinal cord of one of the many monkeys they have on hand for testing, thus allowing for the cord to be severed exactly as they require for their needs?
