Sir, I follow this method on speed breakers. 1. slow down with clutch and break. 2. Change the desired gear with still holding clutch(mostly downshift to 2nd gear) 3. Manovure the speed breaker by holding clutch 4. Start acceleration on crossing speed breaker. Is this wrong method?

Gear shift depends on Speed,, Speed breakers are of different heights. . So when crossed the speed braker below 10kmph u can go for 1st gear and move forward, , If u r at more than 15 to 20 Kmph 2nd gear,, some experienced drivers manage to cross the speed braker at 2nd gear when the car is on 10kmph, for this clutch control is very important. Also its very important to know how many peoples sitting inside the car. .

sir, why should we still be pressing the clutch when you are just over the speed breaker? the vehicle should just roll over the speed breaker without pressing clutch or brake unless there is some traffic in front of you..

Because you’ll be in a very low speed when you’re rolling over a speed breaker and if your gear is high, the engine will stall and your car will stop. So you should press down the clutch to disengage connection between your gears and engine.
