✅ How to convert 2D Image into 3D in Solidworks | 2D to 3D

Ok. So 1st save picture as jpg. Then use website convertio and convert to .SVG file type. Then use Inkscape to convert to AutoCad DXF. Then save as to a folder location. Then start a new SW sketch. Then Insert DWG/DXF into the drawing. Then Extrude. Select contours to Extrude. Ok. Got it. Thanks.

you can also use a SVG to DXF website if you don't wanna go through inkscape.

I see he clicks on a box in the upper right of the import window, it says " White background" try that. About 2.5 minutes in.
