It will be ok for a cell at 3.7 v but not good for a fully charged 4.2 v cell so not very practical. Nice hack anyways. Can work in some cases

Voltage cutoff is 3 volt and full charge is 4.2 volt.when you use the battery with 3.2 volt the battery will die soon, this is not practical

I have a diode module of 6A10 silicon diode, but voltage drop is still 0.3volts. wrong information. Guys maybe we need to put 2 or diodes in series to achieve 3 volts.

Different types of diodes have different voltage drop, silicon diodes voltage drop range 0.3-0.7v

If load under 1 amp then ok

But if 18650 is fully charged then it's voltage comes to 4.2v and with diode it will drop only up to.5 or .7 means still can be 3.5 remaining so that's not good for remote. It would be better to use 2 of them (diodes) to reduce bit more
