Know anything about the e7500? I have a 7500 and am trying to add a card reader. I want the physical/cylinder lock to still work if the power is out

I had to install one of these today, and the exterior cylinder would not open the door with set screw in either position. Is there something else I am missing?

Did you ever solve the problem? I'm looking for the measurement from the middle of the cylinder to the bottom of the metal casing, the longest measurement not just to the notch. thx
