Great video.. Here's more info you : ) White wire is the "Neutral" wire Black wire can either be the "Hot" (live wire) or "Load" (to add another wire too) The tubing is called the "Insulation" Now go a make more great and creative videos.

Yes but my lighting fixture has a ground wire. And I don’t know what to do with it

I am not a professional, but you still may be able to weave the ground wire to the the cord, always complete with wrapping around electrical tape for extra safety, if you try it let me know if it works out for you. (You may also find other helpful videos specifically on that by another youtuber) Thank you for watching!

Separate the ground wire out and cap it off safely. You don't use it. It has been 2 years so I am sure you already found this out.
