Your Element camper is the best I've seen. Also, crates double for campsite stools.

You can make higher, more comfy stools with the mattress on top as well, or use three of them or the zip tied one (upside down) as a bench.

This is amazing! I live in an apartment so building a platform isn’t ideal for me but I could totally store all this in my storage @ my place and be ready to hit the road quick! Thanks for much for sharing!

I've tried many sleeping options in the element. Hanging a hammock inside works the best for me.

Okay. I wasn't sure how I felt about this idea when you started, but by the time you finished I was sold on your execution. I liked that these items can be used for multiple purposes when not used as a camper.

always coming in clutch. last year I used to watch your videos to keep me motivated when I was dashing & multi apping to get the bag. Now, I've been researching for weeks the most practical way to set up my Element & now all I gotta do is search for deals on milk crates. lol.

Just did this today! I wa a missing one bin but the integrity was still there! Only thing I did differently is I bought a piece of plywood so I could use the tables when camping and still have a bed oaltform

Thanks for the table idea. I bought coolers for $7 each and have milk crates. Was going to use wood, but the tables are perfect fit and multi purpose.

You know I had my doubts when you said work out mats and milk crates. . . but much like my friends who questioned my choice in an element . . . I was wrong. Nice choice for people who want both a camper and a easy convert back to a vehicle commuter.

Only thing about that is that your driving up against the front steering wheel and the dashboard not comfortable for long trips. I would have to think about another idea more simple efficient and practical. When you're driving u probably hear all the rattling and crates sliding because they're not secure or attach to anything and no weight. I would go minimalist but efficient not building a wood platform either or carrying too many pot and pans and grills and chairs and bunch of stuff. I would go with a roller bed or air mattres a cooler and one bin wit and camp stove and dishes and one bin for blankets and pillows that is it and l can even leave the sits no need to take them off

Does anybody know the dimensions of these crates? I know the last 3 he puts in are normal sized but the first two layers were longer. I gotta get those measurements to try & duplicate this exact set up.

I loved this idea - it's freaking perfect. But in thought where am I gonna find these kind of crates?! A few days after I first watched this video I ran across 7 of these crates on MP only a few miles from me! And I already have the tables! Now I have to see if my coolers will work! Freaking awesome! Thanks for figuring this out!
