Hi Melissa, I followed your instructions very carefully. The conversion didn't happen - when I re-opened the PDF in Word, and agreed to the conversion, Word opened it as an image (just like it was before). I saved the image as a PNG and followed every step. Any help to get this fixed, would be really helpful. Thanks for your clear and informative videos!

Hi Allen. I would edit it in Excel. This way any formulas and/or functions you have will execute correctly and therefore your data be accurate

Hello! That sounds like a compatibility issue. What version of MS Word are you using?

@@atsa_fentutube6511 that technology has been sunset by Microsoft as of October 13, 2020. So any updates that have been done with newer versions are not applied to 10. Given this I don't know that this will work on this older version of office. I would recommend upgrading your office for this to work.

I was trying a bit more and this is how it worked for me. I opened office on my mobile and scan it into PDF format. Transferred the file to my desktop and when I opened it in word voilla! it worked. Thanks!

Why PNG instead of JPEG?

Hello! A JPG is compressed so when it goes to convert it there is digital artifacts that keep it from converting into the table. A PNG isn’t compressed so it works better.

@@MelCompton Wow, didn't expect a response. The picture was still a picture even though it was pasted as a PNG, saved as a PDF, then opened as a PDF while checking the proper prompt. My table has merged cells so that could have been a factor, but I tried to replicate it 6 times, each with a fresh start and no luck

@@bryannguyen6836 I always try to answer because if you are having an issue someone else may be too so I want to try to solve it. :) I did some testing. Does your picture of the table have the defined borders (dark black) for each cell on all sides? When I tested it I took the borders off with and without merged cells. If it doesn't have the defined borders then it won't work.
