Mechanism errors are caused by broken belts. It may prevent the deck from operating as they have a self check system on all modules.open the deck, simply pull out all the connectors coming from cassette as well as cd mechanisms and you are good to go. Then you will be able to use aux input, which you can connect to an mp3 board which is available for around ₹250. If you don't know electronics, try the shop keeper to assemble a 5 volt DC adaptor and pre outs from it, we can do it in 5 minutes. Then u plug the 5 v adaptor into AC source, connect the output to your aux in ports, and use it. Simple

It's a shame that people does this kind of stuff to these real old gems. These kind of systems are no more made,and one in good condition is hard to find these days. No one with a proper professional ethic would do this. If you need to add a usb/ Bluetooth module , you could do that internally. But that would take some professional effort. But it can be done , absolutely without damaging the looks of these marvels. Shame. I'm a collector and we normally stay away from such modified pieces of trash...These mods will distroy the value of these old gems..
