How to convert between Fractions and Decimals on the Casio fx-260 Calculator

To convert from a decimal to a fraction multiply the decimal x 100, which gives you a whole number. Place the whole number over 100 which then converts it to a fraction. Enter the new fraction into the calculator so it is then simplified for you. Example 0.15= 0.15x100=15 15/100 which it now becomes a fraction 15/100= 3/20 Hit a b/c to convert back to a decimal to check your answer. You should get 0.15 hit a b/c to convert back to a fraction. Hey, what's your opinion on this little calculator? Should someone look to the Casio fx115ES instead? I like that fact that this one can be concealed in ones shirt pocket. How about you expert opinion on these two?

This calculator cannot convert from decimal to fraction directly. You need to at least have a fx-82MS (or 300/350 MS). Currently the Classwiz 82EX, 350EX also have Natural Textbook display functions, in addition to conveying from decimal to fraction.

Yep, it's unfortunate that this calculator does not have a key to go from decimals fractions, the models you mention are good alternatives.
