How to Convert CAD Files to SketchUp in a Quick and Easy Method

In this video, I’m going to show you how you can convert a cad file for use in SketchUp quickly and easily. Firstly, we will set up our SketchUp interface ready for interior design, import the .dwg file, clean it up for use and start creating our construction elements: doors, windows, floors etc so that we can start converting this 2d drawing to 3D.
