Don’t you just love all these newer KZbin videos with so much finger pointing ? No voice, no REAL directions. Just finger pointing and an impression somebody feels you are a mind reader.

This may work on drill for small things, not require high current. PC power supply doesn't supply high amperage. The power supply will burn if the drill finds strong reverse torque .

You can get 18A+18A=36A from that power supply, the best battery will give you max 30A.
@hoangnguyendinh2913 жыл бұрын
it's very good indeed, using a Pb battery also supplies enough power to the drill.

Bro, can i use 10 amps on my cordless drill? Mine was the cheapest with round battery, i bought that for about 40$ and now the buttery didn't last long even just use it for screws only, I've connect it with 19v 2 amps but it like didn't get enough power, it wont turn fast like it were powered by the battery and if pull the switch fast it will only spin a little then it will stop spinning, so i think it doesn't get enough power to work properly, thats why im gonna use 10a current from led driver/convertr but im afraid it will burn out bc of too much power😅 and right now im cant afford nothing, barely eat once a day and i need to use that drill to make my work easier, so how do you think? Will it burn if im using 12v 10 amps power supply?

Did the same but I left the NiCD cells in the battery but not connected to balance the weight and instead of the PC PSU I used an old jumpstart box that was too weak to start a car.

There aren't much choices left for a CORDED clutch driver / drill. They are available on Amazon Japan site. Nothing in North America.

Hello when i was connecting my drill, power supply cuts of power. Do you know what is it problem????
@pkasra4 жыл бұрын
It's because at the initial start, your drill draws more current than the maximum rating of the power supply.

That is way too much work just to save a drill I would rather just buy a new battery or trash can in I'm going all lithium now anyway no more nicad batteries for me oh well it seems like a waste the grill is no longer useful without the battery and needs to go in the trash thank you but it's not for me.

@daishi55714 жыл бұрын
Charging lithium cells incorrectly can cause then to explode/catch fire. Always use the correct charger for the battery pack.
@julianweiser99854 жыл бұрын
Dont charge the batteries with that charger! However with aroud 20v you should be able to power the drill itself, provided that your power supply can handle 20v with 40 Amps

@@DogerBeaner Power supply power is distribute over multiple wires, total power listed is sum of power for each voltage, e.g. 5V, 12V, 3.3V etc. Drill may use lots of power when slowing down due to stiff material, it may exceed Psu power and psu protection will turn of power. Same can happen at start. LiIon batteries, are like a folded roll of metal sheet between plastic, surface area is huge, this way if you request power, it will give you huge power instantly. This is why such batteries are used for phones, drills etc. Even if their capacity is small, they can give you all their juice in short time. You can actually weld with such batteries.
@mattcramdon28384 жыл бұрын
the power supply is worth more than a brand new lithium drill. not worth it.
