@@elloisebrielle2829 What kindle and os do you have? If you have kindle scribe and macos you need android file transfer to usb load. You can use Send to Kindle website which has 200 mb limit. Use epub 200 output format instead of mobi.

that's a lot of stuff to download, I'm too lazy for that. But thank you so much for your time making this video. I might download it someday. edit: I ended up downloading it haha. Thank you edit2: I didn't have to download the other files. Maybe that's due to some updating on the program. My antivirus rejected it but I'm trusting there isn't any malware on it. the manga looks great on my kindle.

Are you using a Kindle Scribe? If so, that messy workaround with a flash drive is the only way. You can do the advanced method with a virtual flash drive.

It supports Kobo, who also own Tolino. You probably just need to find the Kobo model the Tolino is based on, or put in a custom profile.

Hi mate, just have to ask, im new to ereaders. I have a lot of cbz files and i know kobo accepts them if i drag and drop them will it register them or do i have to convert them in some way as it doesnt have metadata? Thanks

@@rhysseddon7279 no idea since I don’t have a kobo. But kcc does some image optimization so you may want to convert either way.

My "Berserk".cbz Files get the following error: "Unsupported directory structure" Error Messages WIKI says: "The most common issue is having a cover image and individual chapter folders on the same level. Move the cover image into the first chapter's folder, renaming as necessary to ensure it is first in the file order." I don´t know how to do it and also don´t understand it fully. Do you have a suggestion? All other Mangas i have are working fine with your tutorial.

Right click cbz. 7 zip. Extract to /. Then modify the resulting image folder and use the folder in kcc.

Are you talking about the sdr stuff? That’s normal kindle generated files like your reading progress.

No, kobos don’t need it. In fact, another comment has a kcc version that doesn’t need 7z either.

I tested the Panel View option which zooms into each corner of the page (when left unchecked/checked), but I would like the option for Guided View (zoom into each panel). Is this option available? Kcc doesn’t support it. I use a kindle scribe so zooming isn’t necessary. I don’t know any tools for panel by panel, maybe kindle comic creator or kindle create. Or buy from Amazon store.

hello I would like to manage my files in a separate external storage but I don't know how to change the final mobi file directory. it pop up an error everytime I put the file not from external storage the only way it convert is when the og file come from my internal storage. please helpp

Shift+click the convert button to change output directory. Hover mouse over the convert button for details. I do not recommend converting directly onto your kindle, kcc is doing a lot of processing until the final mobi is made. What OS are you using? Sounds like a permission problem. Maybe try running it from source if you have the technical skills.

its saying that the file is corrupted but when I transfer it to internal storage and put it in kcc it magically work (the thing is I don't want to "stress" my laptop storage cuz its a continuous install and delete of GB so I wanted to do the "dirty work" on my external storage)

I have problem with this ap. I disable all windows settings that block it, add exception to avast and after one use the KCC icon disappear from desctop. Wehen i download exe file from github once again windows says that i can't save it in the same location because I'm not administrator (but I'm!). To dowload KCC one again on desctop i have to restart PC. My system - Windows 11 Pro

Not sure what you mean by "fits on the margin." Maybe click the upscale box? Or play with the cropping mode feature? Remember that PW5 was renamed to PW 11 in KCC v6.

Shift click the convert button to change the filename. To change the author name, you have to use the metadata editor in the top left or use the command line version.

My favorite source is Humble Bundle. They have super high quality pdf sources. I use mutool to convert pdf to CBZ and use that in KCC.

On Windows, right click the cbr and use 7zip to extract to /. On macOS, right click the cbr and use The Unarchiver to extract. Should give a more detailed error. Otherwise try restarting pc. Or use the extracted folder directly in kcc

Is kindlegen.exe and 7z.exe at these locations in File Explorer? %LOCALAPPDATA%\Amazon\Kindle Previewer 3\lib\fc\bin\ C:\Program Files\7-Zip If they are, try copying them next to KCC.

I'm trying to download the 7zipunar through mac and I'm unfamiliar with home brew all together. I tried to copy and past the "brew install p7zip brew install unar" code into Terminal's Homebrew Window and have gotten a "zsh: command not found: brew" response. Can you please provide more insight? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Update: With a bit of troubleshooting, I found that I have to first have Xcode Command Line Tools installed to my mac through Terminal before I can even install Homebrew and the consequential 7zip or unar. Is there any other way to access 7Zip and thus, KCC, without having to go through Terminal for mac?

​@@eink-reviews My laptop didn't have enough space to download Xcode and that has to be manually installed to my laptop in order for any other Homebrew commands to work in Terminal. I got a notification saying that I needed 15 MB to install it and only had 2--not willing to erase everything on my laptop for this one app. Not even erasing previously downloaded PDFs/files would free up that kind of space.
